
Applications in prescribed form, obtainable from the office of the Registrar are invited from the Bangladeshi nationals for filling up 01(One) permanent post of Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health, University of Dhaka in the pay scale of Tk. 50,000-71,200/- (National pay scale 2015).
QUALIFICATION: Candidates must have a Master of Public Health (MPH)/Global Health and a PhD in Public Health/Global Health from a reputed university. Candidates must have a first-class/a minimum CGPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 in Bachelor's (Honours) in the disciplines of Social Sciences (Sociology, Anthropology, Social Welfare/Work, Population Sciences, Economics, Health Economics, Women and Gender Studies, Development Studies) or Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Microbiology/Nutrition and Food Science/MBBS/ Pharmacy along with a first division/a minimum GPA 4.25 out of 5.00 both in SSC and HSC Examinations. They must have at least (07 (seven) years of teaching experience in public health or related disciplines at a University or at least 14 (fourteen) years research experience in the areas of epidemiology; biostatistics; population, health and development; global health; health policy and planning; public health leadership and management, etc. as a research/ scientific officer or an equivalent position in reputed research organizations. Candidates must have at least 07 (seven) research publications in indexed/quality journals with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). Four (04) of these publications must be from Scopus-indexed journals with single/corresponding/first author. Articles published in predatory journals will not be accepted.
