Educational Qualifications:
03 (Three) vacant permanent Assistant Professor Post: Candidates must have a Bachelor of Education (Honours) and Master of Education degrees in Educational Administration/Social Science Education (Political Sceince) or BA (Honours) and MA degree in Bangla/English (TESOL). Candidates must have at least 03 (three) years of teaching experience at a university or, at least 02 years as post doctoral researc or at least 06 (six) years research experience as a research officer or an equivalent position in a reputed research organization. Candidates with a Ph.D should have at least 01 (one) year of teaching experience at a university. Applicants must have at least 03 (three) research publications in the indexed/quality journal with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). Articles Published in predatory Journals will not be accepted. They shold have Google scholar, LinkedIn and ORCID ID. Candidates already in service must apply through the proper channel. Relevant notes and conditions apply. Applicants should obtain first division/a minimum GPA 4.25 out of 5.00 both in SSC and HSC examinations. Candidates must have a first class/a minimum CGPA 3.50 out of 4.00 in both Bachelors (Hons.) and Master degrees. Requirements for either the SSC or HSC examinations may be relaxed for the candidates who have botained the first position/the highest CGPA in both Bachelor (Hons.) and Master degrees.

After successful completion of the online application process, candidates can download their filled application form and payment slip in PDF format. 08 (eight) copies of the downloaded application form should be printed and submitted to the Director, Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka within office hours on 14.10.2026 with payment slip. Attested copies of certificates, testimonials, mark sheets/grade sheet and proof of experience should be attached to each copy of the application form.
