Applications are invited from the Bangladeshi nationals for filling up the following post of Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka.
Pay Scale of Tk. 22,000 – 53,600/-(National Pay Scale -2015).
Educational Qualifications:
- 01 (One) vacant permanent Post of a Lecturer (Department of Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education): Candidates must have Bachelor of Education (Honours) and Master of Education from the Department of Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education from a recognized University.
- 01 (One) vacant permanent Post of a Lecturer (Department of Educational Evaluation and Research): Candidates must have Bachelor of Education (Honours) and Master of Education from the Department of Educational Evaluation and Research from a recognized University.
- 01 (One) vacant permanent Post of a Lecturer (Department of Special Education- Intellectual Disability): Candidates must have Bachelor of Education (Honours) and Master of Education from the Department of Special Education from a recognized University. Preference will be given to the candidates who have higher degree on Intellectual Disability.
- 01 (One) vacant permanent Post of a Lecturer (Depatment of Social Science- Sociology): Candidates must have Bachelor of Education (Honours) and Master of Education from the Department of Social Science Education or Honours and Master degrees in Sociology/Social Sciences from a recognized University.
- 02 (Two) vacant permanent Post of a Lecturer (Department of Educational Administration): Candidates must have Bachelor of Education (Honours) and Master of Education degree from the Department of Educational administration or Master degree in Educational Management/Educational Leadership with Bachelor of Education (Honours) from a recognized University.
03 (Three) Temporary Post of Lecturers against vacant permanent Post of Associate Professors:
- 01 (One) Temporary Post of a Lecturer against vacant permanent Post of an Associate Professor (Department of Mathematics, Education and Technology Department- Coumputer Science): Candidates must have Honours and Master degrees in Computer Science/Computer Science and Engineeing/Information and Comunication Technoloty in Education/Information Technology from a recognized University.
- 01 (One) Temporary Post of a Lecturer against vacant permanent Post of an Associate Professor (Department of Curriculum and Instructional Technology Department): Candidates must have Bachelor of Education (Honours) and Master of Education Degree from the Department of Curriculum and Instructional Technology Education from a recognized University.
- 01 (One) Temporary Post of a Lecturer against vacant permanent Post of an Associate Professor (Department of Special Education- Hearing Inpairment): Candidates must have Bachelor of Education (Honours) and Master of Education Degree from the Department of Special Education from a recognized University. Preference will be given to the candidates who have higher degree on Hearing Inpairment.
Applicants should obtain first division/a minimum GPA 4.25 out of 5.00 both in SSC and HSC examinations. Candidates must have a first class/a minimum CGPA 3.50 out of 4.00 in both Bachelors (Hons.) and Master degrees. Requirements for either the SSC or HSC examinations may be relaxed for the candidates who have botained the first position/the highest CGPA in both Bachelor (Hons.) and Master degrees.
Application Guideline: Candidates have to fill the online application form and pay the application fee Tk. 750/- (Seven Hundred and Fifty) by logging on to https://jobs.du.ac.bd website by 11:59 PM on 13.10.2026. After successful completion of the online application process, candidates can download their filled application form and payment slip in PDF format. 08 (eight) copies of the downloaded application form should be printed and submitted to the Director, Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka within office hours on 14.10.2026 with payment slip. Attested copies of certificates, testimonials, mark sheets/grade sheet and proof of experience should be attached to each copy of the application form. Candidates who are already in service should apply through proper authority.
